Estegenet is a 24 year old young lady, born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Her mother is a stay-at-home mom, and her father works at a flour factory. She is an only child. She finished 10th grade and took the school placement exam but unfortunately did not get a resulting grade high enough to be enrolled in the State University. She may only enroll in private colleges which are too expensive for her parents. So she quit her education and got hired as a shop keeper in a small shop, also keeping an eye out for any other jobs that don't require a higher education. Estegenet would like to study "Secretarial Science," a field that will teach her everything she needs to thrive in a modern office environment.
EBS Inc. will pay $27 (320Birr) a month at Admas College for the full duration of the diploma program, which is two years, beginning in September 2009. Estegenet will also receive $4 (50Birr) a month for miscellaneous and travel expenses.
Update:
Update II: We at EBS Inc. would like to Congratulate Estegenet on her graduation! We wish her much luck in her future, which we are confident will be bright and successful!
