Hilina Yigezu, a Registered Nurse who was born and raised in the Entoto area of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, has generously offered to be a benefactor to two deserving children. As a benefactor, Hilina will set up scholarships for two students in an art school in the name of her late father Mr. Yigezu Bisrat, who was a groundbreaking and unique artist as well as an educator for many years in Ethiopia. The Yigezu Bisrat scholarships in the Enlightenment Art Academy will allow two deserving young people to develop their natural talents and fulfill their dreams of becoming artists. Hilina Yigezu will, through EBS Inc., cover all the costs of tuition and supplies for an intensive year long program.
EBS Inc. volunteers in Addis Ababa will keep in close contact with both beneficiaries and provide updates on their progress.
